Dr. Perry attended Guelph University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. In 1995, he graduated from the Canadian Memorial College (CMCC) with his Doctor of Chiropractic and has been practicing in St. Thomas ever since. Dr. Perry has always envisioned a team approach to Natural Health Care and within one year of practice he co-founded Soteria Health Centres Inc. Two years later he started development of the Family Health Options concept that we know today.
Dr. Perry was elected to serve as President of the London Chiropractic Society for the 1998-1999 term and is a member of the Ontario and Canadian Chiropractic Association (OCA & CCA). As a contributor to his profession, time is spent guest lecturing and tutoring students of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Perry believes that community service is a vital part of professional life. He is committed to taking every opportunity to educate local service groups about health and health related topics.
Dr. Greg Johnston graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1999 and has been practicing in St. Thomas since that time. Dr. Johnston has served as president for the London Chiropractic Society and is a member of both the Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA) and the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA). Previous to that, Dr. Johnston graduated from the University of Windsor with degrees in Human Kinetics and Education. He taught elementary school in the Sarnia area for three years before returning to school to train as a chiropractor.
Dr. Johnston’s practice revolves around the use of “diversified technique”. This is the primary technique taught at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. The great aspect of practicing this technique is that it allows for the integration of the best aspects of the various chiropractic techniques into an individualized treatment program for each patient. Dr. Johnston’s goal as a chiropractor is to elevate the quality of life of others through the optimization of health.
Dr Christine Slonetsky is a licensed naturopathic doctor as well as a registered social worker. She graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2001 and received a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto in 1990. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and the Ontario College of Social Work and Social Service Workers. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in religious studies which she completed at the University of Waterloo.
Dr Slonetsky ND maintains a general naturopathic and counselling practice in both London and St Thomas Ontario. Over the past 17 years she has worked with hundreds of patients of all ages, supporting them to achieve optimal health and wellness.
She uses a variety of treatments to support her patients including nutritional counselling, herbal medicine, homeopathy, acupuncture, microcurrent pain management treatments, wellness and weight management counselling, individual and marriage counselling. She is experienced in treating patients with a wide range of health issues such as fatigue, stress, allergies, insomnia, PMS, infertility, menopause, digestive issues, IBS, crohn’s disease, celiac, colitis, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, thyroid disease, arthritis, skin rashes and more.
Tests that Dr Slonetsky offers includes EAV and BIA testing, saliva and urine Hormone testing, food allergy testing, heavy metal testing, Gut ecology testing, as well as standard blood tests.
One of the guiding principles in her work with patients is based on her belief in the ability of people to heal. She sees people as whole beings, mind, body, and spirit working in concert together. She also recognizes that people live within the context of a larger whole, which they both impact and are impacted by. She believes that to create healthy individuals, there needs to be healthy families, communities, societies, and a healthy planet that sustains us.
Lisa Bosveld graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1996 with an honours degree in both Physiology and Psychology. She went on to study Massage Therapy at the D’Arcy Lane Institute for Massage Therapy and became licensed in 1998. Lisa has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist in St Thomas since then.
Lisa uses many of the Swedish massage techniques that were focused on at the school, but has also received extensive training in Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, and Cupping. The focus of her practice is not only to treat but to also prevent pain and injury, and to improve her client’s quality of life.
Crystal, originally from a small community in northern Ontario, has been practicing massage therapy in St. Thomas for nearly 20 years. She has many years of experience with the rehabilitation side of massage therapy, and has a passion for pregnancy and infant massage.
Crystal enjoys raising her children in St. Thomas, loves camping, animals, reading and sports. She welcomes new patients and looks forward to being a part of your health care team.
Kennady graduated from Fanshawe College in 2020 from the Accelerated Massage Therapy program with extensive knowledge and passion for helping people. She became licensed in early 2021.
Kennady uses a variety of Swedish Massage techniques to help clients relax as well as Facial techniques, Trigger Point Therapy and Stretching techniques to help with pain reduction, prevention and rehabilitation of injuries. She is always very excited to meet new clients and help improve their daily quality of life.
