Dr. Jay Charron, born and raised in St. Thomas, Ontario earned an honours specialization in Kinesiology degree from the University of Western Ontario. Following this he moved to Toronto where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Dr. Charron is constantly improving and adding to his knowledge of health, wellness and optimal function. He is very interested in pain, mobility, proper movement patterns, and rehabilitative exercises. He wants to get you back to your pre-injury state, and help you to perform the daily activities you desire to do, whether that is cleaning the house, playing with kids or shooting a round of golf. Dr. Charron also has experience working with chronic pain; helping to break the pain cycle, and he is interested in helping pregnant patients manage their pregnancy before and after.
Dr. Jay utilizes many different techniques when treating his patients, and each treatment plan is designed specifically for each individual patient. Treatment might consist of spinal manipulation, myofascial release, VMTX, interferential current, ultrasound, corrective exercises, and Kinesiotape. Education is also a huge component of the rehabilitative process and he strives to teach proper movement, ergonomics and postural habits.
